Our Mission
The Student Union is dedicated to offering programs and services that provide student learning and leadership development opportunities, as well as community-building experiences that support the overall collegiate experience. The union offers a comfortable, student-driven center that aims to instill civic engagement in the community, provide out-of-classroom learning experiences and offer leadership training.

We recognize and value the many opportunities that our facilities and programs offer to the campus community. We provide opportunities for students to engage, develop and learn through student employment, campus programming and open, inclusive environments.

Our biggest priority is to provide the campus community opportunities to make lasting memories during their time at UTD.

Community-Driven
We recognize that one of the greatest possibilities our buildings provide is community-building. Opportunities for student organizations and general student populations to use our facilities free of charge underscore this value. We also offer extensive open seating throughout our three facilities to encourage informal conversation and smaller group meetings.

Through special events, programs and advertisements in the building, students have an array of options for the engagement they seek.
